The Ocean Spray Hotel was constructed in 1936 during the architectural "Renaissance" of Miami Beach, which consisted of ultra creative, and stunning structures designed to attract savvy travelers. Most all of the buildings still stand today, which makes Miami Beach the home to one of the world's largest collections of art deco design.
